Westfield Fire Banquet - Great Times!
Westfield Fire held our annual banquet on Saturday April 4th at the Falcon's Pavillion. Special thanks to Burt Hale and Fred Jones for working to organize the event. After enjoying the buffet dinner, Chief Lockwood recognized several firefighters for their years of service:

Following the Years of Service awards, Chief Lockwood recognized several firefighters for other significant service to the Department and District:
Ed Dypa for his 36 years of service as a District Commissioner.
Fred Jones for his 30 years of service as Department Treasurer.
Joe Augeri for his 20 years of service as an officer (Lieutenant, Captain, Deputy Chief and Chief).
Mike Trevisan for his 5 years of service as a Lieutenant.
David Ribnicky for 2008 Firefighter of the Year.
Sid Harmon and Ross Andrew, Jr. for 50 years of service.
Before wrapping up, Chief Lockwood then recognized our mutual aid departments by presenting certificates of appreciation to Chief Ouellette of Middletown Fire, Chief Badamo of South Fire, Chief Shea of Portland Fire, Chief Quick of Middlefield Fire and Assistant Chief Quick of Cromwell Fire.

Working on it...sorry for the delays.
After reading all of what happened at the banquet I see nothing thanking Chief Lockwood.Maybe something should be said about what he does for the dept.
Anonymous - Ya know what, you're right! Chief - THANK YOU for everything you did to make the banquet a success, and THANK YOU for all the hard work you put in every day to keep the department running. Apologies for not being clear about how much everyone appreciates your efforts.
Lieutponz or asstchief ponz thankyou but i do not do what i do to have someone thank me everytime i do something. Plus you guys are what makes me do what i do.
