Westfield Fire District

The Westfield Fire Department (est. 1931) operates under the jursidiction of the Westfield Fire District - a taxing district established in 1961 specifically to collect taxes for the sole purpose of ensuring fire, EMS and rescue services within the Westfield District of the City of Middletown.  The District is run by a board of 9 elected commissioners.  Elections are for a term of 3 years with elections being held for 3 of the 9 positions each year on a rotating basis.
